Description

Jumbo test tubes supports inquiry based investigation and hands on observation. Plastic tubes are safe at temperatures from -10  to 90C and feature calibration marks (25ml, 50ml, 75ml, 100ml). Includes: six test tubes with lids, stand, and activity guide.

Combine water with different materials, like sand, vegetable oil, soap, food colouring, sugar and rocks or pebbles. What do they think will happen? And what will happen after shaking the test tubes for 30 seconds (make sure the lids are tightened!)? Or perform a colour mixing experiment. Use food colouring to change the colour of water to red, yellow and blue. What happens if you mix the yellow water with the blue water? Can they create new colours?
