pH 0-2.5 Test Strips

Our pH 0-2.5 test strips test in steps of 0.5 pH units and are ideal for testing strong acids with high acid dissociation content, such as battery acid, HCl (hydrochloric-muriatic acid) or lemon juice. They can also be used to test whether your aquarium pH reducer is at proper strength (usually 0).

Instructions:

  1. Remove one test strip from the bag, holding one end of the strip between your index finger and thumb. Do not touch the test pad with your fingers.
  2. Dip the test strip about 1/2″ into the solution to be tested for 1-2 seconds.
  3. Remove and shake off any excess liquid.
  4. Compare immediately to the color chart. Do not allow the test strip to dry before reading against the color chart.
