Heavy duty borosilicate 3.3 glass beakers offer excellent mechanical strength against breakage.

 

** Important note **

When used for heating/cooling, thicker glass can suffer from increased thermal shock which increases the likelihood of the glass cracking. If you need mechanically strong beakers for stirring, etc... the heavy wall beakers are the most suitable. If you require beakers for heating/cooling, standard wall thickness beakers are less likely to crack.
