LESSON OVERVIEW

With this brand new collaboration between Street Science and Queensland University of Technology (QUT), students explore the scientific concept of Energy Transformations through a series of electromagnetism investigations. Electromagnetism is the interaction between electricity and magnetism, and is one approach to generating electricity.  

This physics-based Classroom Kit will show students how both kinetic energy and magnetic fields can generate electricity, and how electrical fields can create magnetism. By the end of this hands-on lesson, students will be able to explain energy transfer and apply energy transformations to real world scenarios.
